Yella Catalana is an animist herbalist, plant spirit listener, and creator of Ojo de Luz. She is also a botanical alchemist and mother of daughters — guided by the living intelligence of the Earth and ancestral ways of healing. Through her vibrational plant remedies and intuitive work, Yella holds space for remembrance — of vitality, of connection, and of the sacred nature of Life itself.
In the indigenous wisdom way, Yella honors the streaming spirit of plants and is, above all, a devoted student of their direct teachings. Her mission is to reawaken the ancient conversation between People and the Natural World — remembering that we are not separate from it, but of it — helping others to cultivate a deep sense of belonging, within themselves, with the Earth, and with all of Creation.
She believes that each person is their own best healer — and that true medicine arises from within. Her work weaves together energy medicine, plant wisdom, and Earth-honoring ritual to support deep self-knowing and spiritual embodiment.
Trained as an herbalist, with studies at Gathering Thyme Herb School, The Gaia School of Healing and Earth Education, and the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, Yella is also a Reiki II initiate and a Master-Certified Intuition Medicine® Practitioner.
She is available to formulate bespoke remedies aligned with the unique emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the individual. Her work is an invitation to live in right relationship with the seen and unseen worlds, and to walk the path of beauty and wholeness.
